About This 200hr Training

Location: Appalachian Homestead, Wheeling WV

Most yoga teacher trainings focus on memorizing poses.

But yoga is far more than choreography.

The Aligned Bliss Yoga 200-Hour Teacher Training was created for students who want a deeper understanding of the body, mind, and practice of yoga. Aligned Bliss 200hr YTT, combines ancient yogic wisdom with modern science.


In this training you will explore:

Functional alignment and movement science
Yoga philosophy and traditional teachings
Breathwork, meditation, and mindful awareness

The Science of Yoga, meditation, nervous system regulation and polyvagal theory.

• Subtle Body Basics

• Ethics

• Accessibility and Inclusivity

• Trauma Awareness

By the end, you’ll feel confident leading yoga classes, guiding breath-work and meditation.

Our training is designed to be immersive while still allowing space between weekends for integration, personal practice, and online learning.

The program includes four in-person training weekends, several live online learning sessions, and a final practicum and graduation.

In Person Training Days are Hosted at Appalachian Homestead


The hybrid training takes is half in person taking place online for 70 hrs and in person at Appalachian Homestead, a beautiful community space in Wheeling, West Virginia dedicated to wellness, sustainable living, and connection.

On in person training days, you'll enjoy:

• Nourishing plant-based meals
• A welcoming and supportive learning environment
• A peaceful space to deepen your practice and build community

This "local" retreat-style atmosphere allows students to step away from daily stress and fully immerse in the training experience.
